I have downloaded and installed the latest Karaoke platform available and it is going to be great to be able to make use of the program. It is called Lyrx and promises to be an easy way to get your song in the cue. It does away with the tradition “Big Book” you usually see when attending a Karaoke function. You know, the book you have to thumb through to decide what song you want to sing. Usually someone else has the book or it sits atop of a table near the dj and has at least 4 people in line waiting to get their shot at looking at those pages.

Well now you can pull up a website on your phone that I will share with everyone. Enter the code provided for the specific location and wham – all my songs are listed there on your phone. Then just submit an email address and you can then chose what song(s) you want to sing and send it to me through that website. You will automatically be added to the Que and your name and the song you are going to sing will scroll on the bottom of the screen I will have up for all to see.

That’s the plan at any rate and still needs to be tested. More to come on this.
